On April 9th, at Beechfield nature area, off Middlewick Lane, three groups of local children had great fun learning about the countryside, courtesy of an event run by the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust.
Also in attendance was Paralympian Stephanie Millward MBE, complete with gold medal!
Three activities were enjoyed - a woodland scavenger hunt which involved matching eggs to the birds that laid them, the building of 'bug hotels', and pond dipping for creatures to view under magnification.
Thanks to Corsham Town Council and the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust for organising the event.
